templates to your presentation or uses one of your own presentations as a
template. Design templates contain color schemes, slide and title masters with
custom formatting, and fonts designed for a particular look. To do this, go to
Format _ Slide Design

Slide Show
This will allow you to run your slide show,
beginning with the current slide if you're in slide view or the selected slide
if you're in slide sorter view.

Custom Animation
Custom Animation option will allow you
to add or to change animation effects of a selected slide. Animation effects
include sounds, text and object movements, and movies that occur during a slide
show. To do this, go to

To insert a picture use one of the
following commands Click Picture

Inserting a Chart
The
text of your presentation is important, but it doesn’t provide much in the way
of visual instruction .You can use Charts to graphically display your data

Double click on the chart button in
Standard Toolbar
Inserting Movies and Sounds
This
will enable you to Insert a Movie File, a Video Clip or a Sound File in your
slide so you can play the movie or sound during a slide show. To do this
Insert _ Movies and Sounds _ Movies From File or Sounds From File.
Inserting a Picture
To insert a picture use one of the
following commands Click Picture
button in Picture Toolbar

Inserting a ClipArt
To
insert a clip art use one of the following commands Click Clip art button in
Drawing Toolbar

Slide Transition
Slide Transition is a special effect used to
introduce a slide during a slide show. For example, you can fade in from black
or dissolve from one slide to another. You can choose the transitions you want,
and you can change the speed of each.
To
add Slide Transition effect , first
select the slide

Adding Colors, Textures, Patterns and Pictures to Slide Background
Right Click on Slide Background and Select Fill Effects or More Colors
The More Colors option will allow you to select Standard Color or Custom Color as you wish .
The Fill Effects option will allow you to select Tabs such as Gradient, Texture, Pattern or Picture
Gradient
If you select this Tab you can add One
Color, Two Colors or Preset Colors to your Slide Background
Texture
This will allow you to add special
texture or other Texture to your slide background.
Pattern
The Pattern Tab will allow you to
add a Predefined Pattern
Picture
The Picture Tab will allow you to
select a picture from another location
To format an object
Select
the object that you want to format
On
the Drawing toolbar, click a formatting button (such as Fill Color, Line Color,
Font Color, Line Style, Dash Style, Arrow Style, Shadow Style, and 3-D Style.)
To group objects
Select the objects that you want to group by
pressing Shift Key
On the drawing toolbar, Select Grouping -
Group
To move a text or an object
Select the
text or object
On the standard tool bar, Click
the Cut button
Position the cursor in required place
On the standard toolbar, Click
the Paste button
To copy a text or an object
Select the
text or object
On the standard tool bar, Click
the Copy button
Position the cursor in required place
On the standard toolbar, Click
the Paste button
To format bullets with a different symbol or picture.
Click the bulleted line of text that you
want to format
On the Format menu, click Bullets
and Numbering
Click Character or Picture Button,
and then Double Click on a desired Bullet
To change text alignment
Select the Text box
On the formatting toolbar, Click
an alignment button (Align Left, Align Center, Align Right)
or
or
Go to Format _ Alignment, Click an alignment button (apply for Justify)
To change Text style
Select the text in which you want to change text style.
On the formatting toolbar, click a formatting button (such as Font, Font size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Shadow and Font color).
On the formatting toolbar, click a formatting button (such as Font, Font size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Shadow and Font color).
Drawing an object
To draw an Object,
On the drawing tool bar, click the Auto shapes button
Point to a Category, and
then Click an object
Drag to draw a shape
To create a Text box.
On
the drawing toolbar, Click the Text box button,
Position the pointer on the slide,
drag the pointer to create a box and then type the text.
